Please join us on Tuesday, March 28th for a casual fireside conversation with Mark Beffort and Gary Brooks on the rooftop of The Edge at Midtown (1325 N Walker Ave.)

Mark began his commercial real estate career and in-depth involvement in Oklahoma City in 1985. After several years as a successful commercial real estate broker, he began adding office investments to his personal portfolio and holds a vested interest in downtown Oklahoma City through his ownership interest in Leadership Square, Oklahoma Tower, Corporate Tower, City Place and the City Center East Garage. His leadership has driven Newmark Grubb Levy Strange Beffort to successfully manage over 7.6 million square feet worth in excess of over $815 million with our real estate investment firm covering four markets including the Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Oklahoma markets, Rogers, Arkansas and McKinney, Texas. Mark serves as the CEO of Investments at Newmark Grubb Levy Strange Beffort.

Gary Brooks has been active in the Oklahoma City commercial real estate market for over 27 years, beginning his career as a broker with CB Commercial in 1988. In 1996, Mr. Brooks and partner Mark Beffort formed Beffort Brooks Property Company, where his emphasis moved into apartments and student housing in 1999. Mr. Brooks has direct experience in all areas of the multifamily housing industry including acquisition, development, financing, construction, and property management. Today, he serves as President and CEO for Cornerstone Development and CS Management, which he formed in 2008. Under his leadership, Cornerstone, and its directly affiliated companies, has become one of the largest HUD borrowers in the United States. With a portfolio value exceeding $300 million, and more than 1,300 units in development, Cornerstone is one of the leaders in the expanding Oklahoma City apartment industry.
