The Urban Land Institute of Oklahoma announces Michelle McBeath as Manager of the organization. Michelle comes to ULI Oklahoma after a six-year career with Make-A-Wish Oklahoma, serving as the Director of Program Services.
“Michelle has years of experience in project management and strategic planning,” said ULI Oklahoma Chairman, Todd Glass. “We are thrilled to bring her onboard and begin this new and exciting chapter for our organization.”
Michelle was an active ULI Oklahoma member prior to being appointed Manager of the organization. Her unique path to discovering ULI Oklahoma began in 2012 where she quickly discovered a personal passion for placemaking, urban planning, and community development.
“Throughout the past few years, I have learned a great deal during my time as a ULI Oklahoma member,” McBeath said. “I am honored to join the organization full time and I look forward to the ways in which I can serve ULI Oklahoma and its members to carry out the ULI mission.”
Established in 1936, the Urban Land Institute is a non-profit education and research institute with almost 40,000 members cross the globe. The mission of ULI Oklahoma is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide.
