**SOLD OUT** YL Mentor Lunch with Richard McKown
This program, now in its fourth year, is intended to connect the emerging young leaders of Oklahoma’s development community with more established ULI members as a means to educate and exchange ideas about Oklahoma’s past, current and future developments.
Richard McKown works as a developer, artist and community designer. He holds an MFA in Sculpture from Boston University and a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute, and a Yale Fellowship in Painting, He lived in central France for four years, working as an artist. After returning to the states his focus has been on developing meaningful community open spaces, combining low impact development techniques, sculpture and narrative. McKown’s interest in mixed use walkable communities has led him to the development of infill projects in downtown OKC. As Development Partner for City Center Development, LLC, McKown has recently completed LEVEL Urban Apartments, MOSAIC, OKSEA an assemblage of shipping containers, and the restoration of the Rock Island PLOW building in Bricktown.
