    Tulsa Happy Hour with TYPROS

A New Leaf is a non-profit organization that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism by providing job training, life skills, and residential services. A New Leaf developed and operates The Village in Owasso, which provides safe and affordable housing to create a pathway of independence and consistency of care to maximize the personal choices of their residents. The Village was developed as an “Agrihood”, built around a farm, and is home to housing for 62 clients, including a community home, single-family homes, apartments, a Transition Academy, dining hall, and administrative building in addition to the 2-acre farm.

Mary Ogle, Chief Executive Officer of A New Leaf, will lead a tour of the facilities and talk about A New Leaf’s mission and how affordable housing and housing diversity help them achieve their goals of improving outcomes for their clients. We’ll also learn about the process that led to the development of The Village, including complex financing and navigating regulations. We will end the tour with lunch at the on-site cafeteria, which will be available for purchase during the tour.
